Norfolk Courthouse BAS Controls Upgrade

Project Details

Acting as the General Contractor, L.J. Barton Mechanical Inc. was responsible for the complete scope of work for this BAS Control and Instrumentation Upgrade. Working in an occupied building, all work had to be completed during the evening and the systems left operational for the next working day. The scope of work included demolition of existing services as required, replacement of 3 existing air handling units, replacement of 35 existing air terminal boxes with 49 single duct VAV boxes, replacement of valves, replacement of electric humidifiers with gas fired units and all distribution piping, BAS replacement, painting of mechanical room floors, all associated electrical work, ductwork, air and water balancing and all associated piping.
