Project Details

This LEED Silver project included the renovation of MacDonald Hall, a 3 storey, 71,523 square foot Student Residence which transformed the building into new offices, classrooms and administrative spaces for the College of Business and Economics. L.J. Barton Mechanical Inc. was responsible for the complete mechanical scope of work which included modular air handling units, hydronic heating units, humidifiers, air to air heat recovery equipment, hydronic piping specialties, hydronic pumps, steam and condensate piping, sheet metal, mechanical insulation, testing and balancing, supply and installation of fixtures and all associated piping. Logistics were a priority during construction due to the age of the building and means of egress to the mechanical room.
