Safety

At L.J. Barton Mechanical Inc. (LJB), the well-being and safety of our employees is our top priority. Our motto, “Nothing We Do Is Worth Getting Hurt For!” reflects our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. We take every reasonable precaution to protect all employees from occupational injury and illness. To demonstrate this commitment, LJB has pursued multiple Health and Safety certifications, as outlined below.

ISO 45001:2018

ISO, which stands for International Organization for Standardization, was established after World War II to assist countries in rebuilding and to create consistent quality standards. ISO standards are internationally agreed upon by experts and serve as a formula describing the best way to accomplish various tasks, such as making a product, managing a process, or providing a service. These standards cover a wide range of activities. In January of 2025, L.J. Barton Mechanical achieved our ISO 45001:2018 certification, the standard for Health and Safety in the workplace. With ISO’s emphasis on continuous improvement, we are able to streamline and enhance processes as we grow and “build for the future”.
