Project Details

Installation of new underground service for Dundas Valley Secondary School requiring directional boring, new transformer vault and new service switchboard while retrofitting the existing switchboard to suit new service and layout. This project included replacement of one MCC unit and reworking existing feeds into new distribution equipment; demolition and complete removal of two existing MCCs; existing outdoor oil filled High Voltage Transformer complete with concrete pad and fencing, aerial overhead lines and poles and landscaping as required in areas of removal. Project was performed to minimize power outages for the school to maintain summer programs.
